Mr. Murat Çalkan has extensive experience in the healthcare sector in the fields of management, corporate marketing, contracted institutions, and business development, and has held various management positions throughout his career.
From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Çalkan served as Founding Manager at VIP Ambulance Service. From 2008 to 2009, he served as Founding Partner at Acil Ambulans Health Services. He continued his career as Corporate Marketing Manager at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital from 2009 to 2011 and served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing at JFK Hospital in 2011.
Mr. Çalkan joined Medicana Health Group in 2011 and served as Director of Corporate Marketing and Contracted Institutions from 2011 to 2019. During this period, he managed processes related to private health insurance, project-based healthcare products, and business development for private networks.
From 2019 to 2024, Mr. Çalkan served as General Manager of Medicana Avcılar Hospital. In 2023, he concurrently assumed the role of Founding Manager of Medicana Airport Medical Center. As of 2025, he continued his role as General Manager of Medicana Airport Medical Center.
As of August 2026, Mr. Murat Çalkan also assumed the position of Director of Contracted Institutions and currently continues to serve concurrently as General Manager of Medicana Airport Medical Center and Director of Contracted Institutions.
