Having completed her undergraduate education in German Business Administration at Marmara University, Ms. Güney has a rich internal audit and business management background.

Her professional journey began in 2001-2005 at Metro Cash and Carry, where she served as an Internal Audit Specialist. Continuing her career at the same company, she assumed the Deputy Internal Audit Manager role from 2005 to 2008. In the subsequent years, from 2008 to 2013, she held the position of Senior Internal Audit Manager at Media-Saturn, and from 2013 to 2016, she served as Internal Audit Group Manager. Further advancing in her career, she served as the Internal Audit Director at MLP Care Group from 2016 to 2021.

Since 2021, Ms. Güney has held the position of Chief Internal Auditor for Medicana Health Group and its subsidiaries, including Medicana Health Group, Medicana Sciences Academy, Medicana Logistics, and Fenerbahçe University.

Her proficiency extends to both English and German languages.
